Leading the Church as Men and Women: The whole people of God for Ministry in the 21st Century
God made us male and female and has called both to lead the church together. But the complexities of playing this out in the 21st century have paralyzed many churches. As ministries have clarified their biblical teaching on gender, many do not yet have a biblical culture for how men and women can lead together.
Whether you are complementation, mutualist, egalitarian, or undecided, this lecture will help you consider how the Spirit might be leading us. For this free and public event, Dr. Amy Peeler—a renowned scholar, pastor, and professor at Wheaton College—will speak to the role men and women can play together as we look towards a new century of ministry in the West. How can we work better together? How can men support, develop, and serve well under and with women? How can women support, develop, and serve well under and with men? The event will include a public lecture by Dr. Peeler and a live Q+A with those who attend.
